Der zweite Teil des Buches ist der darauf fuenden empirischen Studie am Beispiel des Bundeslandes MecklenburgVorpommern gewidmet. Fr diese Studie wurden Lehrer und Schulsozialarbeiter nach ihrem Umgang mit schulischer Auslese befragt. Dabei werden nicht nur die grundstzlichen schulischen Vernderungen in den neuen Bundeslndern seit 1990 untersucht, sondern vor allem der Umgang dieser beiden Berufsgruppen mit Ursachen und Auswirkungen schulischer Auslese beleuchtet sowie mgliche Lsungsanstze innerhalb des Schulsystems aufgezeigt.
