Den Ergebnissen einer Studie von ECA International aus dem Jahr 2008 zufolge haben 67 % der befragten Organisationen ihre internationalen Delegationen in den vergangenen drei Jahren ausgebaut. Insgesamt prognostizieren 63 %, dass in den kommenden Jahren Entsendungen von Mitarbeitern ins Ausland noch weiter zunehmen werden. Whrend der Umfang der Literatur, die sich mit Auswahl und Vorbereitung der Entsendungskandidaten beschftigt, ebenso ansteigt, finden Fragen der Reintegration der rckkehrenden Mitarbeiter weit weniger Beachtung. Wenn berhaupt gleicht die Auseinandersetzung mit der Wiedereingliederungsproblematik in vielen Beitrgen einem abrundenden Schlusswort. Darber hinaus wird meist nur der Blickwinkel der Entsandten thematisiert. In der Umsetzung von Auslandsentsendungen kommt in der derzeitigen Praxis der Wiedereingliederung das grte Verbesserungspotential zu. Trotz der grndlichen Auswahl und Vorbereitung der Entsendungskandidaten sowie der hohen Kosten fr eine Entsendung, gelingt es vielen Unternehmen nicht, Anreize zur Bindung der Mitarbeiter nach Rckkehr zu schaffen oder der sich hufig einstellenden Demotivation entgegenzuwirken. Die vorliegende Arbeit konzentriert sich daher auf die Mglichkeiten einer erfolgreichen Reintegration aus Unternehmenssicht. In Kapitel 2 werden zunchst die Grundlagen fr das weitere Verstndnis der Arbeit gelegt, bevor Kapitel 3 die Wiedereingliederungsproblematik im unternehmerischen Kontext beleuchtet. Im weiteren Verlauf wird die Bedeutung des Potentials von Rckkehrern fr die Organisation aufgezeigt, bevor eine Reihe ausgewhlter Manahmen zur Nutzung dieses Potentials vorgest
