Dass das Thema Ehe eine prominente Rolle in den Texten beider Schriftsteller spielt, ist schon gelegentlich konstatiert, bislang aber ? vor allem in der Gegenberstellung beider Werke ? noch nicht gesondert analysiert worden. Die Analyse trgt dazu bei, die Werke der kanonisch unbercksichtigten Autoren, die eine wichtige Rolle im literarischen Leben ihrer Zeit gespielt haben, wieder in Erinnerung zu rufen.
