Fest steht, dass es sich kaum ein Unternehmen noch leisten kann nicht auf irgendeine Art Verantwortung zu bernehmen. Der grte berwacher ist dabei nicht der Staat geworden, sondern der Konsument, der mehr und mehr Ansprche stellt. Unabhngig von der intrinsischen Motivation Gutes zu tun gibt es Studien, die zeigen, dass sich ethisches Engagement nicht nur positiv auf das Image und die Kundenzufriedenheit auswirkt. Als Folge werden ebenso Gewinnsteigerungen verzeichnet. Dies deutet darauf hin, dass die bernahme von Verantwortung fr Umwelt, Gesellschaft und Mitarbeiter zu Wettbewerbsvorteilen gegenber Konkurrenten fhren kann. Inwieweit Unternehmen solche Chancen wahrnehmen und inwieweit die Unternehmenskulturen ethisch geprgt sind soll im Folgenden anhand der Unternehmen Trigema und Dove untersucht werden. Hierbei wird insbesondere Dove als Teil des Konzerns Unilever in die Kritik gestellt und errtert wie sich Konzern und Unternehmenshandeln gegenberstehen. Die Frage ob sich Ethik und Gewinnstreben wirklich vereinbaren lassen und welche Chancen und Risiken dabei fr Unternehmen und Gesellschaft bestehen soll der theoretische und abschlieende Teil dieser Arbeit sein.
