Der Autor untersucht Inhalt, Methode und Rezeption der verschiedenen Entwrfe zur Verfassungsgeschichtsschreibung, wobei die Historiker Otto Hintze und Fritz Hartung sowie der Jurist Ernst Rudolf Huber besonders in den Vordergrund rcken.
