Darber hinaus formulieren und prfen sie Erklrungen fr ihre deskriptiven Befunde: Aufgrund welcher Bedingungen werden Erwartungen an ffentlichkeit und ffentliche Meinungsbildung tatschlich erfllt oder nicht erfllt? Welche Besonderheiten ffentlicher Kommunikation bestimmen die Auswahl der Akteure, die zu Wort kommen, das Diskursniveau ihrer Argumente und die Qualitten dessen, was 'ffentliche Meinung' darstellt?
